Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver in Maplewood, South Orange, West Orange, Millburn and Short Hills, Livingston and Union. If your area isn’t listed and you’re interested in delivery please contact us!

How does delivery work? Do I need to be home?

We will give you a delivery window (likely 12-4pm). Our delivery is contactless, so we’ll leave the food at your doorstep and send you a text message to let you know it’s there. If someone will not be home, we recommend leaving a cooler out.

Are your meals vegan?

Yes! All of our food is 100% vegan, which means it does not contain meat, dairy, eggs or animal products of any kind.

I’m not vegan, will I still like your food?

Yes! We believe that eating plants is for everyone, and you definitely do not need to be strictly vegan to enjoy our food.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes! Some of our meals are gluten-free and some have gluten-free options. The ordering page for each meal will specify whether or not it’s GF or if there is a GF option. Our food is not prepared in gluten-free facility though, so if allergies are a concern please know there is a chance of cross-contamination.

What about allergies?

The ordering page for each meal will list all of the ingredients and specify if it contains soy, nuts or gluten. Our food is not prepared in an allergen-free facility, so please be aware if a chance of cross-contamination is a concern.

How many serving are in each meal?

We offer meals with 2, 4 and 6 servings. Contact us for larger orders!

What are you prices like?

If I don’t like an ingredient can I customize my meal?

Not currently, but we do plan to offer customization as we grow.

Are the meals fresh or frozen?

All of our meals are freshly prepared the morning of delivery.

Can I eat my meal later in the week?

Yes! Most meals will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Storage instructions are included for each meal.

Are your ingredients organic?

We aim to use organic ingredients as much as possible, and anything that isn’t organic will be specified.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

If you cancel your meal before ordering closes (Fridays at 12pm) then you can receive a full refund. After ordering closes, we are not able to issue refunds (this is because ingredients have been purchased, etc.). You can have your dinner delivered to a friend though- just contact us.

I really liked my meal, can I get the recipe?

Yes! You can find many of our recipes in The Colorful Kitchen blog, The Colorful Kitchen cookbook or The Colorful Family Table cookbook.
